For the golfer.

Being a relatively new sport in the Czech Republic, golf courses were built outside the busier city environments, so the courses enjoy the natural countryside and the tranquility and wild and bird life of the region. The modern facilities add to the experience and with European tour events now being staged in Prague, the golf scene will certainly develop further.

Cityscapes.

Wherever you go in Prague, there is a camera moment waiting. With so many bridges across the Vitava River, there is no excuse for not exploring both sides of the City, with stunning views across to the Castle and Cathedral on the hill above the city, and then views down from the Cathedral to the red-roofed old town. Wherever your path leads, it is beautiful.

For the taste testers.

Were the first beers brewed in Prague?  We shall never know, but what is certain is that Prague has over 40 breweries registered in the city. Beer pubs are everywhere, serving delicious local dishes for lunch and dinner. Just outside Prague lies the town of Pilsen, known for the brewing of pilsener and now the home of Pilsener Urquell.

For the urban explorer.

The Old Town of Prague is a maze of narrow winding streets, lined with curio shops, coffee shops, restaurants and beer bars. Strolling musicians bring an added charm to the Old Town, and for many the best way to orientate and explore the old town is in one of the Vintage cars which are available on most corners.  And when the sun sets the Old Town becomes a dazzling spectacle.
